Doctoral student Alex Wong is the recipient of the 2012 RWP King Award for the paper: A.M.H. Wong and G.V. Eleftheriades, "Sub-wavelength focusing at the multi-wavelength range using superoscillations: An experimental demonstration", IEEE Trans. on Antennas and Propagation, pp. 4766-4776, vol. 59, Dec. 2011. This is the second time that members of our group receive this award; it was previously won by Ashwin Iyer in 2008 .

Eleftheriades, IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, vol. 19, pp. 137-139, March 2009 received the Best Paper Award for a paper published in IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters during the year 2008-2009.
